Visiting from Mississippi. Always sample sushi from new areas. Stopped in for an appetizer and a roll before going onto another restaurant to finish dinner. We only sit at the sushi bar to enjoy watching the chefs prepare the rolls. Friendly staff. Extensive menu. Our spicy tuna roll was great. All the rolls we saw coming off the sushi bar were beautifully prepared. Will definitely go back next time in town.
Best sushi in Daytona Beach hands down. You can see and taste how fresh everything is. The menu is large and there is something for everyone. Plenty of non sushi or non fish dishes as well. The employees are very kind and very attentive. The whole place is very unassuming but I does get busy. Easily our favorite restaurant
The staff were so welcoming as soon as we walked in. The waitress explained the menu and all the specials, she gave great recommendations! The sushi was super fresh and my favorite was the fantasy roll! The ambience is quaint and inviting, no sign=Cafe Du Japan! It seems as if many locals come in because they know the majority of their customers by name. Stop in and enjoy, you won't be disappointed!
This place is our new favorite. The food was excellent. It's pretty unassuming and you have to know where it is. Great people and service. Some of the best sushi we've had in Daytona. Prices are fair too. If you haven't tried it definitely swing by.
The local secret sushi spot! Hard to find place, but that was part of the fun for us. Not the coziest atmosphere inside and few tables. But the food was worth it. Our go to appetizer, the gyoza was good. I've been missing the cucumber roll since we moved to DB and finally found a place that offers it...it's wonderful, fresh and delicious! Additionally, we had the Green samurai. Uni and abalone sashimi. All delicious. The Abalone has a very peculiar taste and was chewy, but this was first time I've ever had it so can't judge. Overall, I enjoyed the variety and freshness of the rolls we tasted and I'll be visiting again!
Sushi is a luxury, so it's nice to go to a place that's exemplifies this care and quality and gives you what your plate is worth! This restaurant is top notch sushi! I definitely miss places like this. The sushi menu at the table is somewhat not seem like it used to be. I love the creativity with the rolls here. I enjoyed the dragon roll and sushi and sashimi combo! Everything was fresh and I feel they are reasonably priced. I'm including a copy of my receipt so you know what to order! Everything was good! Will order the exact same! Probably get more Ninja rolls tho! I took away a star, because of lack of signage and baseboards were filthy.
Amazing authentic fresh sushi ! Javanese fresh sushi ! I had the tuna lover and my husband had ten sashimi and hamachi (jaw meat of yellow tail) he said it was amazing! Staff was all friendly and everyone masked !
It is true that this place has the absolutely BEST and freshest sushi in the area. If you can't find it don't worry someone will know where to go I've had an excellent experience each and every time I've been here. Seeing how it's less than .25 from my house, guess what. I'm here a lot!! The owners are amazing. They go out of their way to make sure you are having a spectacular time. This is my favorite favorite sushi place in all of Flagler and Volusia counties! And lucky me. I'm soooooooo close! Try it today!!!
